Wale los angeles 2017

And swimming with them has grown into a local industry. Look for the whale shark mermaid painted on the front of the building and the Guardaparque signs on the parked vehicles outside. The entrance is at the northeast end of the building. You need to pay a fee to get out on the water. The park office will put you in contact with a panguero. I never saw more than two boats in the area. I was in the office getting information about the rules for observing the sharks, when I ran into a party of young Mexicans.

It seemed everyone I met in LA Bay had been out on the boats and interacted with the whale sharks… except me! I had kayaked around the bay two days before, armed with my annual pass. The weather was beautiful… calm, temperatures tolerable on the water, and the tides were minimal.

Passing the houses at Camp Gecko, looking back about yards, I saw a large shark breaking the surface in water probably less than 20 feet deep. Images of great whites and tiger sharks crossed my mind, but on reflection it was probably a juvenile whale shark.

Certainly it was in the right place. They may be harmless plankton eaters, but they sure look shark-like at a distance. I continued my search at the south end of the bay. There was so much to see… but unfortunately, no whale sharks.

As exhilarating as that was, with frigate birds above and sea turtles and sea lions below, being miles from shore, I should perhaps have gone the longer and safer way back closer to the coast, looking for those sharks.

Inspired by the success of others I had one last look late afternoon of my last day in Bahia. Glad I did though. Let me explain. But hey. Everyone makes mistakes. I understand. I have to tell this story.

At Anderson. He literally flipped and slapped my hand away. Apparently, we had published an article that made him feel some type of way. Of course, how was I supposed to know?

He ended up cussing me and DX out and causing a little bit of a scene. It was so embarrassing. That was really sweet. But, like I said, we all have flaws and insecurities. Shit, even in high school.

This was the Shine Tour, in light of his recent project. I was talking so much shit because when I first heard it, I thought it was so fucking random. Just not put together like an album. I ended up listening to it all day today, in preparation for the show tonight.

It was so crazy. I had an extra ticket and posted a FB status and I swear, got so many fucking hits. I was in shock. I had no idea this many people rocked with Wale. I feel like he does have a mainstream presence, which is dope. Good for him. Huge thanks to Yesennia at Goldenvoice for the set times. At 10pm, it was a full house. I could feel the sweat. This part made me sad af lmao.

He really blocked DX. I was so upset for like 3 minutes lmao. Wale just played "girls on drugs. The only reason I got over it is because I was honestly, truly, loving his set. One of his best. Unfortunately, the mic was a bit fucked up. It kept cutting in and out.
