Good workplace. Job was a bit repetitive and they claimed they had nothing but growth, but I got laid off three months in for lack of work. Coworkers and management were mostly fine to work with. Ample opportunity to solve problems while still being productive.

As a contract engineer, it was super easy and fun, work flow came in waves, either super busy with overtime, or super slow with trying to find something to do. Pros Easy, flexible hours. Cons Limited opportuny for advancement. Poor leadership the job isn't that bad and benefits are being cut big time if you start as a temp they could hire people with friends there a long time before you.

Highly recommend Parker Hannifin to those looking to build a career not just a job! I worked at this company for over 4 years and do not recommend this place. First, the training is not that great because you are expected to basically double your production when training another person. The management is very dismissive and will not work with your schedule.
They require you to come in at weird times and work overtime with little notice and can't tell you a week ahead of time most of the time. The environment is very hot in the summer, and very cold in the winter. The job itself is not difficult but the monotonous and repetitive tasks can be mentally and physically draining. You can have valid verifiable reasons for tardiness or missing days and you will still obtain a point for that day.
Once you reach your point limit they will fire you. I had to beg for a pay increase which they reluctantly give each year, but just enough to keep up with inflation.
Everyone who works at this place seems so miserable and honestly i was relieved when i was let go. The plant manager is wildly unprofessional. Choose another place if you can. Pros paid short breaks. Layoffs and huge turnover have lead to a lot of lost knowledge and palatable discontent in workforce. Parker need to place more value in its people. Many people feel flighted by pay cuts and record profits. It will be very interesting to see how Parker navigated going forward. Pros Good Healthcare, flexible work options. Parker gives the option to choose your shift being on either 1st shift, 2nd shift, or 3rd shift.
The employees have been great to work side by side with and team leaders seem to be fair. The benefits they "give" are really bad.
